Wes Harris represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial and energy disputes. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Harris was a litigator for 20 years at Kelly, Hart & Hallman, as a partner for over 14 years, then Senior Litigation Counsel and Managing Litigation Counsel with Shell Oil Company for 18 years.

  • Obtained judgments or favorable settlements in various energy and complex commercial cases, including joint interest royalty cases, complex contract disputes among working interest owners, and judgments or favorable settlements for plaintiffs in royalty cases and gas purchase contract cases, among many other cases in multiple US and foreign courts.
  • For Shell Global Litigation, Asia Pacific West regional hub office in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for hiring and managing the Disputes team that managed litigation and arbitration in the region, including China, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, and provided oversight for Shell Global Litigation in a transfer pricing case in India with potential exposure in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
  • Broad experience in a wide variety of commercial disputes, in private practice as a partner in a leading regional firm, and in-house for one of the world’s largest energy companies.
